KUALA LUMPUR – 3 April, 2015 – Anise Asia Cloud, a provider of an enterprise public cloud infrastructure in South East Asia, today announced the signing of an agreement with SAP Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. to provide a partner managed cloud. As part of the agreement, Anise Asia Cloud is offering the SAP Business One® application via the cloud to small and midsize enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia. In addition, other resellers of SAP Business One can take advantage of the services of Anise Asia Cloud to offer their customers secure remote access to the software in the cloud.
SAP Business One, an affordable, ready-to-use, subscription-based solution, will be available in the company’s private hosted cloud, enabling customers to access the SAP® software quickly and easily without the up-front infrastructure costs associated with on-premise software deployments. The integrated business management application is designed specifically for small and midsize businesses as well as affiliates and subsidiaries of large companies. Anise Asia Cloud will offer fully managed cloud services including data backup and recovery. SMEs can gain the scalable, dynamic, on-demand benefits of the cloud combined with enterprise-class performance, security and compliance.
“The flood disaster that happened late last year shows the urgent need for SMEs to start adopting cloud-based solutions for their organizations. Using SAP Business One in the cloud, business owners can be confident that their back-office operations and data are safely secured in our Anise Asia Cloud,” said Mohd Jamil Abu Hassan, CEO. “With the new goods and services tax (GST) coming into effect on April 1, we expect that SAP Business One will enable SMEs to smoothly transition from the old tax system and better manage their accounts, inventory and sales.”
“We are excited to be part of the SAP partner ecosystem as a member of the SAP Extended Business program, and look forward to working with partners and resellers to bring this solution to customers in the Malaysian market,” said Heng Soon Leng, VP of Anise Asia Cloud. “ It shows that Anise Asia Cloud is leading the way in providing enterprise solutions to our market area.”
